some have had luck with it but most say it doesnt work that well. Best bet is to either get a custom ypipe or get some poly motor mounts, they are a bitch to install but will keep your ypipe from banging so much because its from the motor moving around.

you only have to take off the driver side. I left my passenger one on for mine. All I took off for the whole install was alternator (not all the way but enought to move it forward), driver side header, idler pulley and I had the waterpump already off from cam swap.

hmm...about a good days of work with a buddy. hardest part is just lining up the holes again for the screws to go back in but it wasnt too bad. Just required jacking the motor up and down on the oil pan to get it to sit right on the mounts.

Poly mounts are the "right way" to take care of it. My cammed engine stays pretty much in place with them. Yes, they're a bitch to do, I won't lie. You could try that Mufflex hanger for 40 bucks first and if you don't like it, do the mounts.

Do the mounts first, than try the mufflex hanger. That way you don't loose out on $40.

+1 for poly motor mounts. Fix it once and fix it right.
