Default catback install

i am trying to install a new catback on my z28.

i've got an slp intermediate pipe, over the axle pipe and dua/dual muffler along with a cme tips.

i've got the clamp off the connects the current intermediate pipe to the y-pipe, but i'm struggling to get the two pipes to come apart.
any suggestions?

also, i ordered a bracket kit from slp in order to hold the muffler and cme tips, which use 3 tabs in lieu of the one one the current muffler.
can some tell me where these new tabs get bolted to the chassis? maybe pics of the underside of your cme equipped car??

thanks
tony

usually, this is caused by a pinch from the old clamp and it sucks. if you have an aircompressor and an air chisel, i'd go at it with that. also, you could try heating it up, and then try to sperate it, lol. you're gunna have to use welding gloves or some thick gloves so you dont burn yourself when tryin to seperate the pipes after heating it up.
