pacesetter install question
posting this from a friends sn because i am too lazy to sign him out and sign me in, but we are trying to get my pacesetter LT's in, we finally cleared the passenger side, but still no luck with the driver side, it seems to be running out of room and not be able to get past the k-member and floorpan, no matter what angle we put it at, any suggestions other than the motor mount bolt? i have had waking nightmares happen because of motor mounts, and dont want to touch them if i dont have to. my buddy did his on his z28 2 days ago, and said his slid right into place with no issues whatsoever on the driver side, but that he had more problems than us on the passenger side. any ideas?

the top of the grill is about at my waist, and i am 6 foot tall, so it is pretty high. it is high enough that i can damn near get the header vertical, and still no dice.

the nub on the block isnt the problem, but the header is actually running into the head bolt next to the #3 cylinder (not the bolt, but the part that sticks out that the bolt threads into

I didnt think I was ever gonna get mine into place you just gotta keep working with it and trying to turn and twist it at different angles.. I had to put a little dent in my floorpan to get mine to slide into place

Cut the tab off, then get the car so high in the front that the rear bumper is touching the ground almost, then be a man put a little force on it and it will slide against the floorpan as its going in, and it only has to do that about an inch. Then it will spring free and you can mount it to the head. I had to do that to put my hooker long tubes on.
