Default slp underdrive pulley?

Just curious is the underdrive pulley worth purchasing or not?
Thanks

It helps, don't expect a huge SOTP difference

What are you asking, if it will help power wise? You will gain a bit of power off it, but nothing thats going to make the car perform any different.

the underdrive pully is one those mods you will not see any big gains on the dyno but you will see a gain at the track especially with an aftermarket cam.

I got one and it was a PITA to get off and put back on...other than that it's a gain of just a few hp.

.10 at the track, anywhere from 3-12rwhp is what I have seen on the dyno.

Yeah, the main thing is you have to make sure you have a good way to put if back on though since the crank bolt will not be long enough to pull the aftermarket pulley back on. You want a 16mm 2.0 pitch threaded rod to make yourself a tool or buy a tool from someone else. I just used the threaded rod and some nuts and washers. Here is the link to some info on this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...55#post5797655

I have one and love it, the high wall helps keeps the belts on better. UD pulley is def a gain, much better then the LT1 cars. No charging issues, there is a SFI # on it, i forget the exact #.

The pulley is only a PITA if the person doesnt have the proper puller. We didnt need any boiling water or a oven to get it on. A lil oil and the proper tool w/ socket and it was fine.

I had a buddy with a lift, impact, took 10 minutes. Make sure you use new bolt when installing new pulley. It is worth it, if you are looking for full bolt-ons. Before my stock clutch started slipping, I ran consistent mid 12's, w/out LT's.

I saw your post in the Dyno section. I had always wanted to see an actual dyno of this instead of just manufacturers claims. Great job
