The LS6 intake is actually a better performer. I would do that instead.

You'll need to get LS6 coolant lines. However, if you want to use your LS1 lines, clearance the underside of the LS6 intake by breaking/grinding off the small ribs that are in the way.

running an ls1 will require a 90mm TB and a throttle cable bracket (i recommend holley's 90mm TB because 1. it's a really nice unit and 2. it comes with a cable bracket). you'll need fuel rail/injector adapters (available from Katech for about $25) and a MAP sensor harness extension (also available from Katech for about $14). ls6 coolant lines too.

Thumbs up

Sounds like you have used this setup before. If you have, how did/do you like it and what is the comparison to using an LS6?

Also is what you have listed here all I need to put this thing on my car and how difficult is it to do it?

Thanks for your help

It's pretty common knowledge that the LS6 intake outperforms the LS2. I would get the LS6, hands down, you can get them used for $350.
