slp loudmouth question
I'm considering buying a used SLP Loudmouth I cat-back system for my 1999 T/A.
The guy I'm buying the system off of is taking it off his 2000 T/A. The system has been on the car for a little over a year with D/D mileage. No cracks or splits.
He doesnt have much knowledge on how much the system is worth, so he asked I throw him an offer. I'm thinking $200 would be a reasonable offer.
Just making sure I'm not over paying. Looking for some feedback.
Thanks

200 for it is good. once he gets it off take every piece to a muffler shop and have them expand every pipe where it was clamped so you have a smooth install. most places will not charge you to do it since it only takes about 2 minutes. i just bought my 2nd LM1 used and it was in very good shape. it was on the guys car for a few years and had no problems.

yeah,he's selling his car and is parting out the performance parts he's got...he's got an SLP lid too,but I think 00-02 has that extra tubing on the lid..would it be worth it to buy the lid and just seal off the tubing,or just buiy a new from SLP.
thanks

yes in my opinion is a good price, make sure loudmouth is what u want. they go to raspy when u take of ur cats n get headers n cam. in my opinion u also can have a simple set up
headers, ypipe, then in the i pipe weld a dynomax bullet n will sound good, good way to keep it simple n u will not lose hp n sounds bad azz
the way i have it in my car. n i like the way it sounds
deep n strong just the way it is
