Default Air Bag

Was installing headers on 1998 Z-28 camaro. Had to take of steering shaft from rack & pinion. Every thing was fine but had a freind of mine turn the key switch, he wanted to listen to the radio. Will to say the least when this happened with the shaft undone the steering wheel turned real quick all the way one direction until it stopped. After hooking everything back up now the air bag light on dash stays on. Anyone have any ideas what happened and what may be the fix. Help would be apperciated. Thanks Bill

Default Re: Air Bag

If it turned really really quick...Like braek something quick...you might of just screwed up the sensor or the wiring that makes it relase.....not really a cheap fix....probably gonna spend 150 bucks to correct...migh get lucky and find someone who will do it cheap.....Good Luck
