"Broke Man's" TB porting - ANNOUNCEMENT, EVERYONE PLEASE READ

I feel i would be doing every potential customer on this thread a disservice by not sharing this story:
I sent my TB out to Spartan Performance to be ported and got it back in a few days as promised. The port work was very clean and looked great but there was a very slight overport which caused my car to idle too high and throw the p0507 code. Not expecting any real customer service (salty from prior experience with other discount services) I simply made a post in the old version of this thread about the overport.
I could not have been more wrong to not expect Damian to stand behind his work. He quickly sent me a PM asking exactly what was wrong with the TB and a few PM's later he informed me that he was hunting down an unported core which he was going to port and send me free of charge, he even stepped up to pay the shipping both ways (both for the new TB to me and the old one back to him). My new TB is on its way now.
I think everybody who is considering this service should know that not only do these guys do great work but they're also true stand up business people. If you're on the fence about this mod, DO IT! I felt a SOTP and throttle response improvment. On top of that, getting a throttle body ported on the cheap is one thing, but getting a throttle body ported on the cheap by someone you can count on to make the wrongs right and stand behind their work is something much better. Thanks again Damian.

I remember the first thread on this, I was very interested. After reading the positive reviews, I'm definitely going to give it a shot.
SS101, thanks for sharing, that story is definitely good to hear! It's always nice to hear about vendors standing behind thier products/workmanship.
My car's a DD, but I have a week off next month when I'll be able to have it down for a few days. I'll have to send in my TB then.

To anyone considering having this done...DO IT! I had Damian port my TB a few weeks ago, and the port job is superb. Communication throughout the process was great, and the throttle response after the port is very noticeable. One of the best cheap mods out there, and Spartan Performance stands behind their work.
