SLP MAF question...

SLP MAF question...
I bought a MTI lid, SLP MAF, SLP IAT module, and SLP bellow tonight from a friend. When I tried to put the MAF on, I found out that the MAF needs a 5 pin connector instead of the 3 pin like my car has. Does anyone know what this MAF fits? Also, the plug on the MAF is on the passenger side and goes up at an angle. Mine plug is on the driver's side. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: SLP MAF question...
I don't think this MAF will work with LS1 PCM. From what I understand each MAF is taylored to a specific application. Unless you're running an LS6. Sell it and use that money to get one for ur ride.

Re: SLP MAF question...
SLP 85mm MAF comes in two versions. The one they
say is for '98-'00 will lean you out somewhat. The
'01-'02 is mixture-neutral, going by my car's
lack of LTFT movement.
The MAF may have the air temp sensor on it, but
it comes with a pigtail harness that basically
ignores the IAT and passes only the supplies and
output to the stock F-body harness (and the IAT
portion of the harness is still left on the lid,
as-is).
If you don't want to change your "natural" mixture
and MAF calibration, get the late-years version.
If you think you want to "lean it out for more
power", I'd suggest you know where you stand
before you dollar down. Otherwise you'll be back
here asking "why am I pinging like a sumbitch?".
Or, save your money for something that will give
you some actual performance improvement and keep
the stocker until you have every other bolt-on
and run out of stuff to buy.

Re: SLP MAF question...
I already have a lid, FTRA, 3600 Vig Nitrous converter, McCord tuning, gutted cats, Magnaflow catback, etc. With my DragLites and ET Streets on, it went 12.6 spinning half way through first. The car is running a little rich and the SLP MAF is off of a '99 Formula. It might be worth a shot. When I put my NX wet-kit back on the car, I'll probably have to take the MAF back off.
