Will an exhaust leak cause a rich condition?
I am in the process of swapping out my Bassani Y-pipe with its ORP. Upon inspection, I noticed 3 or 4 exhaust leaks near the cats and O2 sensors. My car has been running pig rich even though I just had it tuned (no wideband O2) by AAP. Could this be my problem? Thanks for any input.

if the leaks were before the O2's then yes, it very may have.
and without a wideband O2, or EGT, how did your car get tuned...based off the best performance on a Dyno?

Yes, it could. If the exhaust leak is upstream (before) from the oxygen sensor, the gases escape and never reach the sensor causing a false reading. Also, the pulses going by the leak could actually pull in the outside air and cause a false reading (depending on how bad the leak is).

Re: Will an exhaust leak cause a rich condition?
It was tuned by monitoring the cars sensors with LS1 Edit and 6 dyno pulls. The major leaks are after the O2 sensor, but within 8 inches. I am finding so much wrong with my header/y-pipe installation (AAP), I am going to assume that I have leaks upstream and check all seals and bolts. Thanks for the help.
