look for the flowmaster dual 3" to single 4" outlet merge... a much better design then that one!

Doesn't seem very smooth to me. Looks as though the exhaust gases will collide with each other as they enter the single pipe. They say it's a 4" In/3" Out. I think they are saying two 2" pipes in equals 4" and the exit is 3". Are you looking for a 4" exit merge? A better 3" to 4" merge would be the Flowmaster. Thunder Racing p/n 30-Y300400

Yea! I am going to do 3" pipe off my headers to a Y then go from that to 4" back to my muffler. So 3 to 4.

Thumbs up

It's going to be hard to find anything better than the Flowmaster merge then.

Contact Tyson at PAF (or PM Indukted1)

He is in Westminster, and can do literally anything you want exhaust-wise. Very talented fabricator

Well running into some issues here. We had my car up on the lift figuring out what to do and the 3" off the collectors to the Y is no problem. The problem is going from the Y back 4" mating to the 2.75" stock piece. Nobody makes a 4" to 2.75" transition. Anyone know how to accomplish this or someone who can make such a piece? I looked on-line and found nothing.

you'd have to use a 4 inch to 3 inch reducer, then a 3 inch reducer to a 2.75 inch reducer.

why bother with the 4" if you are going to just neck it all down to 2.75"?

Because most people put a cutout on it before they neck it down.

Don't bother necking it down. Just keep going 4" all the way to the back.

sure.. make it yourself other than that there is no good way to reduce the exhaust to that extreme without doing it using a off the shelf reducers.

Just to give you an idea.. I make my own Offset reducers from 3" to 2.5" to clear the underbody brace piece easier in our F-cars. 4" to 2.75 is a bit crazy but it can be done and is a bit silly to cause such a serious restriction but to each his own.. Here are some pics of the last 3" id - 2.5" od one I made..

Yea a 4" cutout before. Why? Because with the stock muffler setup I know it won't be crazy loud or drone. It's still my cruiser! But I can open up the 4" and get great flow at the track. Also if you come of the headers with 3" you have to use the 4" Y or go to a 2.5" size to 3" off the Y. I prefer 4"
