Default EGR Block Off Plates

I just bought a LS6 intake and I'm going to delete the EGR & AIR. I don't have the block off plates for my headers. I have done a search and I can't find anyone besides Speed Inc that carries these. Are they the only option I have.

I was hoping there was a company closer to California that I could get them from as I want to tackle this project before Sat

Cut the tube off of the mounting plates. Put a penny or piece of metal under the stock mounting brackets and bolt them back down.

Done! You just made your own egr/air delete plates for free... (or $0.03 )

Edit: I got bored and made a picture

Default block offs

Just an FYI. I ordered my block offs from speed on Friday and got them Monday. They only had to go from Chicago to Cincy, but I would think If I got them in two shipping days, you could get them to Cali in 4

I can't believe you guys are paying $14 plus shipping...and then waiting a couple days...seriously, just get a grinder, or a hacksaw, or anything and cut the tubes off, then put something under the thing, and bolt it back down...for free, and you don't have to wait.

I've heard of those flanges breaking off with block off plates, to do it right, the flange has be taken off and welded shut, should look decent as well.. who wants those damn flanges stickin out if they aren't even functional..

quote from vendor:

I highly recommend that you have the air tube flange plates removed and welded shut. The reason for that is because of our past experience monitoring other brands of headers. We've seen how the weight of the block off plate combined with engine harmonics can cause, over time, the air tube to break off. This has not been an issue with our headers to date mainly because I've been very adamant about letting our customers know about the problem.
