Default ARH 1-7/8 install

...how in the hell do you get the passenger side in? Have poly motor mounts, starter is dropped, car is up, but without severe modification to the firewall or k-member, I have no idea how these things are going in... any ideas? Thanks. Driver's side was a joke, I could've thrown it up onto the motor.

Are going up from underneath? Also might have to take out motor mount bolt and jack motor up to get them to side in there. Might need a second set of hands too....

Thanks that's what seems to be consensus from searching, that OR prying the transmission towards the driver's side. Either way I need a 2nd set of hands and don't have any so looks like I'll just wait till later or tomorrow. And yes they are going in from underneath.

I have the exact same headers and mine slid in no problem, don't hit the k member, didn't have to take the starter out either. The driver side required some k member cutting and taking out the steering linkage though. Stock motor mounts.

It always helps to have a second set of hands.

My ARH's went in easy on both sides. Only thing that was removed was the steering linkage.

Total bitch on the passenger side, but it's in (there was no way it was making it in without some type of heavy pushing... pryed part of the firewall away, it was literally 1/16 of an inch away in 3 separate places, so damn close). Driver's side was a breeze (and has been the few times I've done LTs... odd). Didn't jack motor, prying trans didn't work, might have to grind k-member, but I don't really care. Thanks for the suggestions. These are great looking headers and can't wait to fire up the car this week. I knew coming into this that with any 1-7/8 it's going to be a little tighter, I was just completely baffled when looking at it.
