Default My custom trueduals *lots of pics*

Just got my 2.5in trueduals back. What ya think? Cost me under $400...got more plans for it when i change suspension (then we will take care of some of those nasty bends)

-gutted cats
-magnaflow xpipe
-magnaflow muffler
-magnaflow tips

all and all im pleased with it, cant beat the price, and the welds are quality, sounds is beautiful!

edit: pipe doesnt touch driveshaft, there is a 4in clearance when the weight is on the wheels.

I would take it back and have them fix the issue with the piping touching your DS.

Yeah I would definitely do something with the driveshaft issue, but other than that and the kink coming out of the muffler it looks pretty good.

its not nessessarily a bend. i guess the way he explained to me is his machine couldnt bend the pipe smoothly all the way around, so he did two partial bends, then cut and welded them togeather. It looks bent, but it still flows. That will be getting fixed anyway, gonna have a small peice bent right, cut and pasted in =)

I'm not feeling it. That one pipe is coming out and making closer to a 180 degree bend.

True duals on our cars are tought to do because of the narrow center channel and having a parhard rod rear. There is no place for the exhaust to exit on the drivers side of the rear axle. I think a clean single exhaust is better than trying to force a true dual.

then you would have the same thing only backwards. the point was to get both pipes over the passenger side without going under the axle.

Is your magna-flow x-pipe stainless? All I could find by Magnaflow for the x-pipe was their stainless one and I don't want stainless. I really like how the magnaflow x-pipe keeps the pipes cloe together exiting the X

yeah the xpipe is stainless. I got it from somewhere other than magnaflow but it was advertised as a magnaflow xpipe. it cost me about 84 bucks.

with 2.5" pipe couldn't you go over both sides of the axle? it would make the X muffler in the rear a lot better fit
