If no water pump, where does a belt tensioner go?

Default If no water pump, where does a belt tensioner go?

Just thought about this, but the belt tensioner mounts to teh WP. If i dont have a water pump mounted there where would the tensioner mount to??

only thing that the belt is running on my setup is crank,alt and PS.

remote water pump. its part of the radiator. alternator is staying on the bottom. my belt will go around the crank, PS pump and alternator.

That's what I figured looking at your sig. Hopefully there is a way, or custom brackets so you don't have to fab something up from scratch.

What about all the people using an electric WP? I will also only be running the PS and ALT. With the tensioner in between the PS and ALT, I hope there will be enough wrap on the ALT so that it doesn't slip.
