If no water pump, where does a belt tensioner go?

If no water pump, where does a belt tensioner go? Just thought about this, but the belt tensioner mounts to teh WP. If i dont have a water pump mounted there where would the tensioner mount to??
only thing that the belt is running on my setup is crank,alt and PS.

What about all the people using an electric WP? I will also only be running the PS and ALT. With the tensioner in between the PS and ALT, I hope there will be enough wrap on the ALT so that it doesn't slip.
