I have a 2000ss with a lid and filter and gmmg exhaust i am goin to purchas a slp cai and fernco bellows but i also was wondering if it would be worth the money to buy a 85mm maf and what are the advantages and disadvantages of them, thanks alot guys

dont waste it on the 85mm MAF...spend it on the Throttle Body...Its your limitation...Stock MAF Flows enough for 500+ HP....also Do the LS6 intake(my next purchase) its the other limitation besides heads...

some people said with the mods i have box lid and exhaust that the throttle body wont do ne thing and might even decrease my horsepower unless i have over about 400 hp

Figure this one out same here put on SLP MAF+slower put stock one on ran 13.01 in qouarter on street tires feathering clutch out to reduce wheel spin same time i always ran put SLP MAF back on 12.73 consistently???
