Default Pacesetter LongTubes Question

I just ordered longtubes for my ls1 and was wondering if i should wrap them. They are armor coated but i figured with the wrap it would lower temps under the hood and make them last longer. Another question is should i order better gaskets then the ones that come with them??

use a stock style steel manifold gasket. you could wrap them if you wanted.. if i did it over i would...mine are armor coated as well.. but they are starting to rust ... but i see a lot of weather in missouri....

i have been told wrapping them can make them worse. i guess wrapping them can hold in moisture and debris. but, it should lower under hood temps.

Wrap and use POR-15

J/k, that might really mess things up.

I wouldn't bother, personally.
