Default At what point will i need to

Go with a larger tb and ported intake. I currently have a ported stocker and plan on getting and ls6 intake. What displacement or hp level would i need upgrade to 80+?

Technically you never "need" to go bigger than stock. It's really just that the higher you get in HP level the more air you're demanding and the stocker or ported stocker will hold you back more and more as the demand rises. I don't think a 90 setup is really "crucial" unless you're at least at 400RWHP. Some will say you need heads/cam but cam-only can get to 400 at the wheels. I was around 400 RWHP cam only and went with a 90/90 plus UD pulley and different tuning gained me 28RWHP and 20RWTQ.

There aren't many reasonable choices. Basically, it's LS6 or FAST 92.

I'm running an LS6 on my 346. It has a 224/228 cam and AFR heads. (425rwhp, M6.) I'd hope to gain 10-15rwph swapping in a FAST 92, but they are expensive, and for the time being I figure my time/$ are better spent elsewhere. (Drive train!)

Are you still running the stock converter?
