Default changing cam on throttle bodies (help)

remove the whole TB from the car. Remove the TPS sensor. Remove the 2 screws going through the plate holding it to the shaft. Remove the plate. Tap the shaft out of the housing. The cam and shaft are all one piece. Use a little loctite on the shaft screws when reassembling.

For anyone changing out the cam follow the instructions up top and on the plate, slide it out thought the top and hit the shift with a flat top hammer to remove the metal ring holding it in place, two good hits should be enough to get it out. I was surpised how much difference the cam makes. 00 and up have a bigger cam so the throttle response feels better.

Man I searched and searched and found some of the info but small details sometimes makes the biggest difference. So if someone is doing this and actually searches and find this page it will save the a lot of time and head scratching. I almost jacked up my cam trying to remove it so I'm passing the buck forward
