Default MagnaFlow Muffler

After doing some research, I think the right muffler for me is the MagnaFlow. The problem is that I don't know which model to get. I know I don't want one of the racing mufflers. I want the muffler that is considered "nice and deep" at idle, but is decently loud at WOT. 13597 is the muffler I think I should get, but I'm not sure. Can anyone please verify this? Also, which measurements should I get? Thanks in advance.

Just put mine on last weekend. (#15684) It is just a little louder if any from the stock SS exhaust at idle. Has that old Hot Rod sound, nice and deep. I still have the stock cats and Y pipe and no headers. I love the sound and it doesn't blast you out at highway speeds. It only took me and my dad about 2 hours to put on and the 3.5in tip look good. I was afraid they would look to "rice" but they look good. Can't wait to dyno and see what I picked up at the rear wheels...........

Thanks guys for the input and the responses, but I am not interested in the full catback...I just want to purchase the muffler. I think I am supposed to get the XL Muffler #13597 but I am not sure. Idealisticly, I want the muffler that's used in their catback. If anyone has any input on the correct muffler, it'd be much appreciated, thanks.

Pewter02, Thank you so much... I couldn't find that part anywhere. Do you know of any sponsers that carry the part, it seems like kind of a hassle to buy it from a dealer that Magnaflow suggests...why cant you just order it from them online? GRRRR.
Thanks again man,
Ed

You could just go to a muffler shop that carries magnaflow and buy it off them. That's what I did, but don't remember the part number.
