Default Relocating coils to side of block?

I have an 82 Corvette with an LS3 and I got a really nice set of polished valve covers and I need to relocate my coils. I don't have a cowl and I don't have any room on the firewall. I do however have a ton of room on each side of the block and my long tubes are plenty far away.

Does anyone see a problem with having the coils there?

I am not too worried about water because the car probably will never see rain.

Default

as long as you keep components away from burning on the headers, you can relocate them.
