Default 383 Stroker Question?

I have a 2000 trans am with LT's, Ory,and a full exhaust. What numbers could I see with a 383 stroker? Also what would be the cost of a good 383 including installation?

About the same as a 402 or 408 shortblock, depending on what kit you went with.
Ive thought about 383/382/396 strokers and the cost of the kit with the cost of rebuilding the motor is more than it would be to get a new motor.

In my researching I found that rebuilding your current block saved about $400 from buying a whole new shortblock from say, tsp. But for the piece of mind I'd get the new block. Depending on your future plans the LQ9 402 iron block might be what you're looking for.

I was refering to the lunati kit thats nearly 4000 bucks. I would rather just get a 408!

402 or a 408 before the 383 kit, but thats just my opinion.
