I got my pair for about $70. The Mecham price is per tip.

Got the Mecham 7.5" oval (elyptical) tips for $196 shipped in chrome. Dennis Meacham said he designed these tips specifically for T/As. Can't wait to get them on Saturday.

The finish pitted and washed off of my Mecham oval tips in less than a year.
Dennis said it must be due to the gasses or something. !! (He didn't sound surprised, so my guess is it's not the first time it's happened).
We do have damp weather here in England though. (Fancy assuming they would resist water and gases ehh?!)

Fitting them to my new GMMG pipes was a PITA as the inlet are so large. (I just didn't want to tighten them up THAT much)

I seem to remember they are alimium with a chrome finish.
He let me BUY a new set that were polished alimium (no added finish).
Very nice of him!
I got the larger size ovals, and they do now look great on my TA IMO.

Dennis asked to where I lived since I was ordering chrome. I told him in Florida and about 5 miles from the Gulf. He wasn't to sure about how the chrome would hold, but told me tips were aluminum and could be polished.

Getting the tips welded on tomorrow.
