check that thread out. Its a 408 with a big cam and a hooker catback.
I had both the Hooker catback and the magnaflow. I liked the Hooker alot better. The magnaflow had to much rasp for me.

i was up in the air on the hooker catback or magnaflow! i went with magnaflow and very happy with it. but i do like the way hooker sounds. it seemed like it had more of a deeper rumble sound than magnaflow did. cant go wrong with the hooker catback.

i have/ had the hooker on my car with a 228r on a 112 and i really like it. you could tell it had a cam in it but it was still fairly quiet untill wot. even on my 408 it is still quieter than you would expect.

I love my hooker, but am going to be putting on a slp dual/dual as I wake up to go to work at 5 in the morning and need the quietest setup as possible. I have a cutout when I want loud.

I am very happy with my hooker catback. I bought it first when I had stock exhaust and was a little dissapointed with how quiet it was, so I bought a cutout and just ran open cutout all the time. Then after I put on my headers and ORY and closed the cutout, boy does it sound awesome! It idle's and cruises very quietly but the minute you get on it, it screams!

i run the Hooker cat back and QTP 1-7/8" headers and 3" Y. It's pretty loud, but has a nice sound to it. Here's a clip of at idle (cold). Click on the link in my sig for a WOT run.

That's the thing with the hooker exhaust, on a stock setup it is barely any different then stock. But when you add Long Tubes and an ORY, it sounds great!

I picked up a new Gibson catback from Jegs a few weeks ago to replace my BorlaMouth that was just too frickin' loud. With Mac mids and an ORY the LM1 then LM2 then BorlaMouth it just got old.

Jegs had the aluminized catback complete for $265!!! It fit excellent and looks very good. It has a nice low tone and is much nicer to drive. Very little rasp and no drone. Sounds very good at wot.

Simply can;t be beat for the price. It is offered in stainless, too. Don't remember the price on stainless, though. Nice item.

I've got a hotcam and a hooker catback. No tailpipes right now... dumptruck mode. Link to soundclips in my sig.
