i lost some low end torque with my setup but the sound is amazing and the system is reasonably cheap compared. For your setup i would stick with a stepped header or just a 1 3/4 header. I might be wrong but you only want to go to a 1 7/8 header with a bigger cubed motor. and straight into TD's. now I ran mine out the back because cops kept giving me tickets but if they left me alone i would of left it alone. Id the the TSP Rumbler X. I have the sweet thunders and get nothing but compliments on it. i had a 80 yr old guy come up to me and tell me that he loved the way it sounded and it reminded him of his 70 ss chevelle. thats as good as it gets. and when you get down on it. man that baby screams. people i drive by at WOT always turn their head and cover their ears. i love it!

i guess my biggest concern is swapping the headers and not picking up anything.....my tuner told me that my exhaust was the reason my dyno numbers were a about 10-15 too low but i wanted other opinions or maybe advice from people with experience....i know adding an X pipe will pick up a few but i really cant decide whether or not to get rid of the LTs b/c Kooks are expensive......anybody else?

for the money they are the best deal, BUT i want to make the MOST power possible through the best exhaust setup out, even if it means custom!

my goal is to keep my motor 346ci, and break 9s while it still being a DD. sounds really means nothing to me, i just want to go fast! the car will have a ton of spray on it along with a built/forged motor so after saying that which header seems to be the best for my application?

go with kooks headers and a borla catback. Its alot of money but you get what you pay for.

If the goal is 9's. id go with a set of kooks 1 7/8 and TD's. you will lose some low end torque but the N2O and the gain in the upper rpms will more than justify the small loss.

I would go with the kooks 1 7/8 and the td's. I would think that would be the best way to go. Good luck
