K@N Cold Air Kit I'm not finding info I need concerning Cold Air Kits. I'm tired of buying aftermarket Lids that don't fit! Does anyone recommend the K@N Kit? I don't like the SLP Kit. Are there fitment issues with the K@N Kit, and can I use a non-K@N filter w/ot the oil, or, only K@N makes a filter to fit them?

Mine came with the fipk kit on it and I like it fine. But there are a few things that I wish was different: I wish it came with sealing kit so it didn't also suck from the engine bay, the replacement filters are high and they seem to get dirt fairly quickly even from highway use. But I do like and would recommend it but maybe not first. Just my .02.

i liked my k&n kit, i changed it back to the lid style when i put a dry kit on so i could fog the air box, and when i dyno'd it i saw a loss from takin it off when i mad a pull on motor...
