Default Armor Coated Pacesetters

i did a search and couldnt find the answer i was looking for. i just bought some lightly used armor coated pacesetter lt's. so will these end up rusting in the long run or turn a different color or something. cuz on ws6store when you click on the options, armor coating is like $100 more and jet hot is $240 more. i just want to know what im gettin in to. cuz if they will end up rusting, then i might consider getting them ceramic coated if i have the money and/or time before my engine is put back together from getting rebuilt. thanks. Dan

Unless its steel, its going to come off and rust.

HOW LONG depends on when its driven and weather conditions, also where its parked.

^^^so to be clear, if its just metal with the "armor coating", it will eventually come off and rust. but if its steel with the "armor coating", then its good to go. how can i tell if they are metal or steel once i get them. thanks.
