when i had my fipk i considered doing that. but i would have made it look bettter though. looks like a damn badger chewed that to pieces.

Cuts look terible, needs some plastic edge over the cut edges and maybe repaint it.

^^^^ I agree. You need to clean up the edges a bit, then it would look better.

I'm not sure how functional it will be without being enclosed. I had the FIPK before switching recently to the FTRA setup...the car seems to respond much better after the change....this is without a new tune being done yet.
My buddy did the switch before me and had his car re-tuned, they found that his IAT decreased substantially, and throttle response was better with his SLP version of it.

Doesn't Seem Like Such A Good Idea To Me, A Little Air Stolen From The Radiator By Duct Is Alright But Look At The Air Your Losing That Is Suppose To Be Cooing Your Radiator I Would Definitely Rethink It..i Have This Setup How Much More Air Can You Ask For Then A Totally Open Filter.

For the love of God, use a dremel, or some rubber moldings you can buy at home depot
