What connection is this?

What connection is this? I was plugging in my LSx 5.3 harness in today and noticed I don't have a connector to plug into this port. It looks like a vacuum port there too.
I had the harness and PCM modified by Wait4Me.
Is this plug/connection even needed?

IIRC from my LQ4 Manifold, thats the EVAP solenoid. It isn't needed but I think it will function even if it isn't plugged in. It just releases built up pressure in the fuel tank.
