Default HP numbers?

I have an 01 z-28 with a flowmaster cb and catless y, next week I am going to put on an FTP 85mm lid 85mm slp maf and an slp smooth bellow. I was wondering what that would do for my hp numbers. After that, I am going to buy some jethot headers, an ory, and replace my cb with a hooker, plus new plugs and wires.

If you have the stock lid now I would say you might gain up to 10RWHP. If you're replacing an aftermarket lid with this 85mm lid I would say a couple RWHP max. After your exhaust upgrades you will see some very nice gains.

Are you running stock heads/cam etc?? You might see 25-30 horse with all of it, add some tuning and you could see a bit more.

Everything else is stock on it, as far as I know, except for the flowmaster cb and the stock y with cat delete.

Isn't the 85mm stuff overkill?

I always see people here say the stock MAF is good to 500hp, and the SLP one is a waste of money.

you'll probably see around 10rwhp with your mods right now, the more mods you do the more the little things like the lid and maf help. they say the stock maf is good up to 500hp.. but you'll feel the difference between the two. it's definately a good start man..

SLP MAF not worth it yet, plus you will need a tune. Waste of money. Been there done that. Lid worth about 10hp though.
