Pacesetter photos and overveiw
Well I finally took pictures and found a site to host them so here goes the review I promised last week
The overall look of the headers were unexpected ... in a good way. From what I am told, they look like Hookers.

I also took an inside shot of the collectors

After a few cups of coffee and alot of talking, Don and I got down to work. We jacked the car up very high, pulled the old system out and to our suprise; the Pacesetters were very easy to install. Don cut a tab from my motor (he can explain this). From that point it took 5 minutes total to get both headers into the engine bay and ready to bolt in. No banging, flexing, steering rack adjustments or jacking the motor from one side, it was great. The only issue we had was with the y-pipe, it was a very tight fit, it even hit the floor board when I romped on the gas in 1st gear. Don did some work, bent it down, installed a peice of heat resistant hose sliced in half (the long way) just incase it got close to the floor (haven't had a problem yet). The headers are a perfect fit but the y-pipe could of been designed better. If they had it contour to the body better (this would make the y-pipe force the rest of the exhaust to aim down towards the ground) then cut and re-weld the end of the y-pipe to angle up it would of been perfect. It appears that the cheaper you go with the exhaust systems the more tweaking you may need to do with the y-pipe. The headers themselves fit like a glove and appear to be quality hardware.
Here are some more pictures
Engine bay (the only decent shot that could give you some sort of fitment visual, there is alot of space there)

Now for the good stuff, the power. Before the headers I had 316.3 horspower & 328.9 torque. This was with a lid, catback and Don/Dez LS1Edit tuning. After the header/y-pipe install I went up to 334.0 horspower & 342.6 torque. I gained 17.7 horspower & 13.7 torque.

Aside from what you can see here I would like to share a little info. With Don's tuning I picked up 8 horspower and 12 pounds of torque. If any of you were to purchase this setup and have it installed by Don/Dez racing and have your car tuned, you could literally see at least 25.7 horspower & 25.7 torque. I have the 99 LS1 so I don't even have the LS6 intake. The 2001+ models would probaly benefit even more than I. Point being; Don/Dez does some awesome work. His knowledge of tuning and handy skills when it comes to hardware installs has given me 25.7 horspower and 25.7 torque for minimal cash.
Don + Dez Racing = killer combo.

A guy here locally made a little over 20hp on his 01 SS
And i was wondering i also have the LM right now, with no cats and LT's is it a good loud or is it a dump truck loud?
And i was wonding if the GP was still going on because i called Texas S&P today but had to leave a message and couldnt get ahold of anyone.

99Z28RS, same exact setup I had. If you don't like in the city you can get away with it but trust me, it's loud like you arnt expecting. I'm in the dead center of Boston, MA so I installed a bullet and the car sounds like I only have the Loudmouth .... until I step on it.
