might be a dumb ? but im a newb when it it comes to exhaust, ive heard a lot about X pipes...r they only for true duals?? also what about a new cat conv.(any recomendations???)

I wouldnt invest in new cats unless you are getting LT headers with a new Y. They are pricy and dont offer gains for the money on stock exhaust.

i just had my magnaflows installed this weekend . mine needed a bit of cutting and adjusting only cuz of my custom Y. i need a flange welded on the I pipe to fit the Y pipe but i dont think you'll need that. we just raised the rear end with a floor jack pretty high to get enough clearance to work under. chalked the front wheels and had it on jack stands.
installation was pretty easy and the setup looks great, 3.5" stainless steel pipes are bad ***. we spot welded the connections and used the clamps that came with the kit.
