Default how do i tell what gear ratio i got?

i don't know if my car has the 3.23 gears that most auto's got, or if it's the 2.73s that some got. is there any way to tell the difference?

look at the part codes on the driver door of your car. I don't remember which one is which GU9...etc do a search on here, you WILL find it. Also there would be a large RPM difference on the highway. What rpms are you doing on the highway???

If you have a stock vehicle, look for the RPO codes on the door or in the glove box. GU2 = 2.73, GU5 = 3.23 and GU6 = 3.42.

4th gear doing 60 or 100 (forgot which one it is) look at your tach, that'll give you an idea of your rear gear ratio. Your tach will read about the same as your rear.. Minus a couple percents tho.
