Default $150 to spend on a temp. exhaust system off headers

Ill have about $150 bucks left after i purchase my headers to put sometype of exhaust off the headers to quite it down because it is a DD but there not very strict on sound ordianances around here but i dont think driving around open headers will go down to well with the police and as long as i have sometype of muffler/resonator im safe... So far this is what i have thought of ....

- Flowtech purple hornies (already has turndown)
- Summit racing glass packs w/ turndowns
- Dynomax ultra flow welded race bullet mufflers w/ turndowns
- Morso spiral flow race mufflers w/ turndowns
- Hedman glass packs w/ turndowns
- Dynomax Thrush Header glasspack (already has turndown)
- Dyno max Resonantors w/ turndowns

Any suggestions is appreiciated

If you get headers and your just gonna have mufflers right off the headers its gonna be loud as hell.

You're better off spending that money on as much piping as you can get and not even waste the money on a muffler. Relocating the exit of the exhaust is going to do a lot more to quiet down the interior than a race muffler right off the header collector can possibly do. I'd spend it on two turndowns an a shitload of pipe.

Best thing to do is get some 6-8in extensions and run a couple of 3inch Dynomax bullets off of them. It'll be loud as hell, but driveable. The bullets should only cost you about $50-60 each brand new.

Im going to go true duals because of the HP gains. I got rid of all my exhaust (because the job menikei muffler did was so bad)so right now im running with no mufflers and no Y pipe just 2 1/2" turndowns on the stock piping off the manifold.

Its alright if its loud i just dont want the noise coming right below me going into the cab. So i should just get some pipe extensions and run them off the headers into the bullet mufflers with some turndowns ?

x2 exhaust shop could make you one for fairly cheap, mine was $100 and tucks up underneath very well.

I have a set of duals here that I just took off a car. They have bullets on them and have hangers welded on already.

If you can come up with another 75 you can have them. Im gonna go ahead and post them for sale soon.
