I use my car for 99% street driving and go to the track 2-3 times per summer. How many miles can I expect to get out of the 918 springs before they need to be changed?

How often do you take it near redline during day to day driving. I'd say you'd get 15K miles being pretty darn hard on them. Longer if you baby them, i.e. not much redline shifting, letting the oil get to OPERATING TEMPERATURE before driving above 3500 RPMs, etc.

A buddy of mine has quite a few miles on his, probably over 20k, and they are still going strong.

I've got a 12 mile drive to work and usually get on it about once per trip.

they should hold pretty long.. i would sway them around 12-15k though just to be safe. Some have 20k on their's

I would say change them at 30k.
