Wow! imprssive. What kind of numbers do you think you would see with your 215 heads and a 92/92 setup.

i wondered how long it would take trickflow to put out a monster cam. everyone was using their heads but none of their wimpy *** cams haha.

keep up the good work and let's see some 215/new cam/fast 92 results!

Guys. There are better options these days. Looking at the lift is what gave this post away as being really old. Pay attention!

That's just funny right there. Did you ban him for dragging this up? Wait a second. I'm not going to get banned for posting in here am I?

nah, you wont get banned. lol.

I like pointing these threads out once in a while to keep trolling tools aware that they are not unseen.

Plus this crap is hilarious when someone posts on it and had no idea it was near fossilized. Sometimes it screws people if you dont point it out in a big way like a generally do because they will think they got the latest information because google directed them to this thread when they searched "400rwhp from Trick Flow cam".

Here is the banzzored tool:

I know this is an old tread, but just wanted you to know that I'm running this cam in my 408... My 04 GTO was street tuned and hasn't seen a dyno yet so I don't have numbers for you. With my 3,800 stall it very streetable and big broad powerband.

I'm very happy with it.

I figured there were probably a number of people that were running this cam still. Let us know how it goes if you ever get it dynoed. TF may be interested as well what kind of numbers it puts down in a 408.

Right after the engine swap, running my original 241s ported and milled, Edelbrock proflow XT, and a bad tune ( I did the tuning and missed a few things) timing at wot was maxing out at 20* and fuel was fat but stil pulled a best of 12.00 @ 113mph.

Got the fuel and spark closer to where they should be now so the car "should" be in the solid 11's now...I'll just have to wait a month or two till I get back to the track

Default Well...

Guys. There are better options these days. Looking at the lift is what gave this post away as being really old. Pay attention![/QUOTE]

Well.. let's hear about some of these better options. Something with similar lift to reuse his already bought springs. This may be an ancient thread but I've seen many dyno graphs and their stage 2 cam is excellent in that category. So really wondering what makes this cams so bad that you're going to lock down a thread. And what cams are that much better? Especially for the price. Or even double the money. What cam would you recommend for both categories? Thanks for your input. On the edge of my seat since I have been threw 4 dif. Cams and the tfa 30602003 is definitely my favorite

The cam is tested and very good. An excellent match for a TFS-16918-16 spring package for instance. Keep in mind, the intake opening point is pretty early and checking the piston to valve clearance (especially on the intake side) is necessary. If correction is necessary, the exhaust closing point is early enough that the cam could be retarded by 2-3 degrees (from the 4 degrees advance ground in.) This cam is about the size of other "stage 4's" these days
