is that cam even designed for the LSx engine?
if you want mild, try the 224 cam. you'll need new springs with pretty much any cam.
the stockers are barely enough for a stock cam.

There is SO much info on starter cams out there at your fingertips.... search buddy
TR230 is a good one for stock headed car, 228r, tr224, all killer cams, dont worry about jegs, give TSP or thunder racing a call and they can help you out,
what other mods do you have? a cam isnt neccissarily a first mod in that it needs mods to the exhaust and intake to really get things going
and i really dont think thats even an LS1 camshaft, chevy small block parts ARE NOT LS1 parts.
and you WILL DEFINATLEY NEED springs, pushrods more than likely, not a bad idea to get an oil pump and timing chain while your at it.
