Default head repair question

I have a set of Patriot cnc ported 241s off a buddies car that were ported into the water jacket 2 of the intake ports have pinholes They flow just under 300 according to there site I dont want to throw good money after bad I have a set of stock 243 heads and was just going to put the patriot golds on them and run them as is.... Opinions What is the cost to fix the 241s These heads only have an hour of run time on them Money is tight right now otherwise i would get the 243s ported but that isnt an option at this point

With your cam profile, I would use the #243s. Just make sure you have 11:1 SCR and a good intake/header combo to match it up with and it will run HARD!

61cc will do it. PTV will need to be verified for sure though.

How old are they? Call Gunnar at Patriot before doing anything. They're pretty good about standing behind their product.

The heads are 2 years old.. My buddy got the shaft from golen engines he bought a 402 actually i think a 408 iron block from him had to send it back 2 times and when he actually got it running it ran for about an hour.. Fired it up the next day and the pin hole in the intake runner had filled #5 up and boom cracked the block...

The motor was supposed to have stage 2 ls6 heads he got 241s when they took it apart he sent the heads back to golen to check and he sent them back and said they were good to go..
Hell i found the holes just looking in the ports..
I have no doubt that they are patriots .. But very unlikely they would do anything now
