What do you rev your 408 to..any problems and what mods done to it?

Default What do you rev your 408 to..any problems and what mods done to it?

Think should be safe for occasional very occasional runs to 7000 say to wind out fourth gear in 1/4 mile in my new 408. Is that dreaming.
Engine is fully forged with arp mains,rod bolts and head studs. Have double springs and fairly mild cam lift. yella terra rockers.

I am not talking about road racing at 7000 rpm continuously.

i ran 6300 on stock internal mustang gt 2v( turd ) My motor i bought at je/ eagle assmbley that spun 7800 rpm on a single 88mm and lost oil pressure and lost the rings
