XFI™ RPM, XR265HR vs XFI™ RPM Hi-Lift, XR265HR
Opinions on both.... I have a 98 SS and am looking for a drivable street cam... I dont want to sacrifice too much midrange and throttle response so i am looking for a nice mild cam. the specs are a little different on the two but is the xtreme rpm cam that much more wild or what?

No, the xtreme rpm one isn't that wild at all, rather, it has fairly tame lobes compared to many cams installed by people.
I would take that one over the milder-lobed cam to be honest. It produces great results and the car would be almost stock-mannered, but with a little more oomph up top.
Check this articel from Comp - http://www.compcams.com/Community/Ar...ID=-1044516358 - using the XR-269HR hi-lift.
I reckon a custom Comp 218/224 .605/.609 @112+2 cam would be nicer though!!!
Cheers,
Macca
