Default Manley 14114 Rod Side Clearance

I plan to replace my original LS1 connecting rods with Manley 14114 forged I-beams. I am concerned about side clearance because the faces of the Manley rods are not ground flat like the stock rods. Also, the average big end width of the Manly rods is slightly larger (0.002 inch) than the stock rods meaning there will be slightly less side clearance. I think that the unfinished rod faces might need greater clearance. The stock side clearance specification is 0.005 - 0.020 inch. What range is acceptable with the Manley rods? I am using the stock crankshaft.

You will usually see .019-.020" side clearance with the Manley I beams. I used them dozens of times and they are fine.
