you put in the springs and dont know what kind they were ?

spring life depends on a alot of things but in your case with 10k miles on the springs you dont know about i'd replace them just for peace of mind.

some comps 918's would be fine, there good for .600 lift. i went with rev duals myself.

somebody else installed the springs, but i remember them being the 918's
i remember him saying that the first ones he put in broke in the first 1/2 hour after starting it up because of the problem they where having with those comp springs. then we got the ones with the stripes

i just checked out the MTI site and saw the springs. it says they work with stock heads.
I plan on getting some LS6 stage II heads soon, will they work ok with those heads also?

when you buy heads just tell them what you have and they will come with springs/retainers/new valves already installed on them...and tell them you want duals if you can get em.
If you're gonna do the heads soon...then jsut wait till you get the heads....no sense in doing work for nothing
