Default LS2 lifter buckets better than LS1 buckets???

I am building a forged LS6 blower motor,
Are the LS2 Lifter buckets better stronger thatn the LS1/LS6 buckets???

will the LS2 buckets fit in a LS1/6 block?

Please let me know

Yes they will fit. I think they are slightly stronger due to the long cutout that is there to clear the piece in the LS2 block and the wider flange at the top.

I have LS1 lifter bucket bolts will these work on the LS2 buckets?

Yes, don't lose them they are special locating bolts.

I don't really think there is a Gen IV lifter tray, I think its just an updated design. Like said above, they do fit.

i think the only difference is the ls2 buckets have grooves that line up in the ls2 blocks.

The LS1 buckits will not fit the LS2 , But the LS2 will fit the LS1, Been there ,done that.

Yeah found out there is no difference between the LS1 and LS2 lifter buckets, ther are the same besides the notches-lines in them.

Is it necessary to replace the lifter trays i just put my ls7 lifters in with the old ls1 trays

got my new lifter trays today and my new lifters, tight fit, is it supposed to be this tight?
