early christmas to myself
after a long talk with tsp i finally pulled the trigger and ordered the shortblock
370 with eagle rods diamond pistons arp rod bolts and main stud kit
prc ls6 2.5 heads milled to 60 cc with a .30 gasket for close to 12.1 comp
ms4 cam on a 112
PARTS TO BE SWAPPED OVER
bbk intake with throttle body slp mass air k&n air kit
pacesetter headers off road y pipe dumped
racetronics fuel kit with 42# injectors
aps crank pully
PARTS ON WAITING LIST
electric waterpump
spohn front suspension kit to with manual rack
hopping to shift at about 6800 and make a 475 to the wheels what do u guys think did i do alright for a budget build

Good, balanced design. The 12:1 static compression with the MS4 cam should give you just about optimal dynamic compression. Therefor you should have torque down low, and power up high, the perfect combination. Good luck with your new budget Monster.

thanks guys im preety pumped up about it should be a great combo to play with some of my buddies that just got new bikes as for the offer im gona have to pass i think id be ripping u off and i just dont roll like that haha forgot to memtion i have a 150 dry shot thats going on the motor 2 might convert it to wet and go alittle bit bigger if the stock rails and lines can supply anuf fuel not sure of their limits

oh im def going to post some pics probly in about a month thats when it should ship out and for results i live in nothern indiana so it will be a few months before i can get it on the dyno but ill be sure to post the results

59 cc and the 40 gasket is what i was thinking but but thats what we came up with i just kinda listened to them and decided what i wanted i dont build shortblocks everyday so i dont really know the safe limits

update it took a little longer than expected but its alomst finished up things that i changed from the first post had to run a thicker head gasket quench was to tight so its 11.8 comp now and i changed my dry shot to a wet shot and i put double pumps in my tank and ran a -8 line to some speed rails with a rail mounted reg
