O ya forgot the stall! Ya that'll really help me get off the line when i need to. what do ya think 2800-3200 stall?

I dont want to run above stock rev cuz i want the motor to last. Hopfully!

The motor will last just as long as it would have if it were bone stock IF you have the right tune. For that cam I would at least 3200. I had that exact cam in my last car and had it paired with a 3400.

I think that you could get close.

Where are you getting this $90 UD pulley? I wouldn't mind one for that price

W/that list of mods the car will not dyno that high because it is a a4 car. auto car do not show good numbers on the dyno they show it on hte track. ive seen full bolt-on head/cam a4 cars only but down 410-420hp.

I just wanna be able to make decent track times. mid-low 12's will do for now but would like to get back into the 11's like i was in my 75 Formula. I have to travel atleast 4 hours to the nearest track!

I just dont wanna be stock... it sucks! I want outta the 13's cuz i know thats where im at. I won a race against my rival (My neighbor that i hate with the 06 mustang GT) and hes getting a tune and some mods on his car this winter and then wants to race again in the spring. He is running around talking sh*t even though he lost, lol. Well i would really like to make him look like a dumba**...... AGAIN! lmfao

Besides I had to sell my 75 Formula......I need to start on my new toy!

That combo will get you there or close to it. My car put down 400rwhp & 375 rwtq through a Yank 3600 stall converter and has run a best of 11.74 @ 115 on the motor with the stock 3.23 gears.

just to let you know, i have a comp.224/230 cam 591lift 114 ,headers,ory,ls6 intake, and 3500 tci stall and i made 380rwhp which is damn good, you gotta remember that the A4 cars dont dyno as high as 6speeds so it takes a little bit more money to hit certain HP marks....also if you wanna do the cam swap right look at spending $1500...Gaskets,Valvesprings(suggest Patriot duals),ported oil pump.timing chain, fluids, spark plugs, and im sure theres more just cant think on the top of my head, so plan for all of that also..

also with the cam i have it shifting at 6500 and i could go more but i just dont trust my bottom end...but it wasnt losing any power up top..

I have an A4 and I dynoed pretty good. I didn't dyno much lower than an M6 with my same mods (my mods are below) and my numbers in my sig are from a dyno done in about 110degree heat. With a cam only the most you would get is around 400. You definitely need the stall... I recommend a 3600 stall. I drive in L.A. traffic everyday with this stall and I have no driveability issues or discomfort on the road. I would recommend a 228 or 229 cam. I greatly suggest you get the LS6 intake or if you can find a used Fast 90 or 92 even better. My 229 cam is very liveable... the cam has a little of the lopeyness to it but not much- this car is my DD so it was important for it to be very liveable for me. I recommend just getting a bigger tb... unless you are going to have someone who does good work to port your tb. Aftermarket exhaust will help release hp too plus I don't really know anyone with stock exhaust and headers, so it might be something else you want to look at.

The 228Rcam package on my car put down 372rwhp on a dynojet. If looking to get closer to 400 I would suggest the tsp 230 cam.

Your list looks good. However, I wouldn't waste your money on the BBK throttle body and use that money on getting the ceramic coated headers. If you actually have a winter or wet falls and springs, I wouldn't put the painted headers on the car. After a couple heat cycles the paint will flake off and the headers will start rusting. I would spend the extra money on the coated headers. On the cam, the 228R will be just fine without having to turn the engine extremely hard. You can set your limiter at 6600 and shift the car about 6300-6400 and be just fine. Put a 3000 converter in the car and you will be setup with a nice street strip combo! Let me know if you have any questions!
