Default Installing heads/cam on '05 chevy LQ4 - What should be replaced/upgraded?

Hey guys, I just bought PRC stg 2.5 heads and torquer v3 cam along with their gasket kit, hardened 7.4 pushrods, and the dual springs/titanium retainers already installed. I was wondering what I should replace/upgrade while I have the beast tore apart? I was told the 05's already have the LS2 timing chain (can anyone verify this?) The engine had 30,000 miles on it BTW. Let me know, thanks.

LOL....it seems we LQ4 guys are frowned upon here. I cant seem to get much feedback either with my LQ4 questions.

Im going with the same heads but I am getting the MS3 cam, Although I think I will be swapping that for something a little smaller

Joking aside, any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Idk about the timing chain, but Im doing the same thing as you. Im replacing the oil pump, timing chain, rod bolts, harmonic balancer bolt, lifters, head bolts, all affected gaskets. Im sure Im missing something but its just stuff to consider(or not)

You should find a newer Trans Am and study the rearend look for awhile............cause' all your going to see is my tailights when we race! Just head on over to the Midwestern Members area and check out who the fastest LSX is in the Minnesota section and get back to me!?
