Default LQ9 408... Probe Pistons?

Im looking at picking up a car with an HKE built 408.

Everything looks awesome except the pistons.

I know nothing about probe but a friend said they are crap.

Any input? Car will be just a street car, very little track time.

Thanks

I know of a mustang using probe pistons and making 1300 whp .

I think he has around 3 years of use with them so far .

I have only seen 1 engine with probe piston and a turbo, built by HKE and it lasted couple thousand miles before it broke 2 pistons. They loked like they were stock pistons with 10 psi boost and broke the ring lands, the car was running 5 psi with probe forged pistons. I would be careful, but some people have good luck when others dont.
