Default Front cover clearancing...

Thought someone might like to see exactly where to clearance the front cover for a Rollmaster double-roller chain setup with, in my case, a stock ported oil pump. The four 3/4" diameter reliefs are for the stock pump bolts, I ran them a bit deeper with a 3/4" router bit on my drill press, using a micrometer to assure adequate thickness (0.100" after "miilling"). Then there was some minor interference with the cast-in braces on the pump which was relieved by grinding two slots about 1/8" deep and 1/2" wide. Now the cover fits without the gasket, so it's done!
