You have a pretty broad range there. I voted for a Tv3 for a DD. You could also go with a Tv2 if you didn't want as high of a lift. That's the only cam I've run so far but I like it and wouldn't want to go any bigger for a DD or semi DD.

Well I started out really liking the 230/230 cam but I know that once I get my truck running again I will more than likely park the car except for weekends. It may be next year before I do that though. I just don't want get it and then wish I had went with something more aggressive.

None of the above, I would prefer a cam in the mid 220's.

Regarding "El Torro" 230/230 111 LSA cam

Chris knows what he is doing and is paying careful attention to details to support that cam. What details would you ask: well degreing the cam, he has a custom ram air, proper suspention geometry and supporting mods.
Duplicate his exact setup and you'll get the same results.
That cam is good for 60>70rwhp and a very flat broad torque curve.

Guys, there is no such thing as a "magic" cam, there is what is called a properly well balanced COMBO. That requires proper build protocol and professional tuning.

IMO, this cam is the new best ALL AROUND 346ci cam only, it has it all for street/strip players. It is not "the max effort most Hp producing cam", but those require more supporting mods to work as well or a lot of weight removal. If Chris would remove another 200>250 lbs, he would be in mid 10s with good air; 350lbs and he will be in the top 5 cam only in the country. All of this while cruising gently on sunday afternoon with the babe.

yup i agree completely drove to the track 40 minutes each way...also predator i am still on my stock ls6 intake and stock ported tb...with 3.23 gears too boot...waiting till i need the 12 bolt before the gear swap...so i actually have a little left on the table, even EWP if you wanna go crazy...

most max effort hp cams need 4.10s or higher...just something to think about

I've seen some cams that claim to be "magic".

And best ALL AROUND 346ci cam is a pretty big statement.

It is a proven statement, and best to date. The tech cogs are turning relentlessly and new grinds popping all the time.

Chris do you have any idle clips of your car? I was thinking of doing a 224ish xfi cam as I have read reports on people still being able to get decent gas mileage with 224ish cams. Any idea about a 230ish duration cam being the difference between daily driver versus being to obnoxious and bad mileage? Would this 230/230 cam be better for a daily driver with a m6 on a 113 LSA?

i would just leave the car SI if you are worried about gas mileage...mine dropped probably 5mpg after the cam plus my 4000 stall..dunno how it would be in a m6 though...

it is definitely a strong cam and works great in a daily driver, i highly recommend it but if you are worried about MPG i would just do bolt ons and stay away from the heads and cam...think about why a cam gives more hp..more fuel and air...

here is the vidle clip though a slightly leaking cutout...they never seal 100%
