Largest Hydraulic XE-R grind
So who is running the largest XE-R hydraulic roller cam or one with similar ramps? What does your valvetrain setup look like and what are your results?

Re: Largest Hydraulic XE-R grind
Good info once again, but from my understanding, thats not a complete chart there j-rod. i've got a 238 ex (non XER) lobe on my cam, and it's not shown. hrmm.. mark @ comp was telling me for some odd reason that the biggest lobe they had was a 242 at the time. perhaps this is a later chart, or i was just mis-informed.

I have a buddy @ Comp sending me the master Lobe Catalog. I will try to scan the appropriate sections and post them up.

Re: Largest Hydraulic XE-R grind
i have a 236/238 601/605 on a 111 with 2* advance. stock lifters and combinations new ex-616 springs(stock bottom end). still working out tranny and converter issues, but the valvetrain is holding up fine and is not too loud either. we will be checking spring pressures after we switch from the 5.7 heads to the 5.3 heads. after we put the 400 tranny in, we can work on some more solid numbers
